Flight of Fancy

Good Evening, All
This is a combined Card / ATC project.

As I am still trying to not do too much I have been using materials I had already prepared rather than starting from scratch. For instance for my last couple of posts I used die cuts and ephemera that I had already earmarked for certain things. And other things were half prepared for projects I had planned. What I have here is a revamp of a similar idea from several months ago. I had used the clarity heart stamp and loved it as it just seemed to cry out to be used for things other than just a heart; I was seeing flowers and wings and windmill sails. (sorry, vivid imagination alert!) Around the same time I was using the clarity seahorse in different sizes and I should say that seahorses are one of my most favourite things ever. So there I was playing with my old favourite seahorses and new favourite hearts (more soon!)
I have returned but decided it is all too long so suffice to say I had some of these components to hand so I assembled them to make this card and ATC (First ever ATC yay!)
M & M
(Materials and Method)

Card
Black card, layered with Black Mirri board
Gold satin finish card cut into strips to edge front and back of card, stamped with a row of seahorses in black ink.
A4 Acetate sheets cut to size
A4 Double sided adhesive sheets cut to size
Gold leaf (I used Art Metal gold leaf sheets)
Versamark
Gold embossing powder
Black Stazon Ink
Gold brilliance metallic ink
Clarity heart stamp
Clarity Seahorse stamps
Shrink plastic
Stamped heart several times on acetate with black stazon and layered with double sided adhesive and gold leaf.
Stamped heart on shrink plastic in gold and black, cut to shape and shrunk; used these as wings for small seahorses down front of card.
Metal foliage, brad and cog.
Gold cord

ATC
ATC card layered with clock workings.. Edges inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Two small seahorses cut out and mounted on card with foam mount; shrink plastic wings stamped with clarity heart stamp and attached with glue dot.

    1. Don't worry about it, Michelle I did not know for ages and I am ashamed that I just started using the acronym without thinking about others. Another new term I just learned on the Crafty Bloggers Network is "fat page" and that is a four inch by four inch working area (one example is my moonlight and roses post). If there is anything I can help with I will try or at least find out if Idon't know I think my email is on my profile but in case not it is veecass2@gmail.com and I am on facebook - veecassidy so you can always message me that way. Take care, feel better, Vee xx
