The lovely Elaine Wheeler http://wheelerscraftiness.blogspot.com/ who is a wonderful person and so extremely talented has been awarded The Versatile Blogger Award. It could not go to a more deserving or lovely person.
Read her post her. Elaine
Elaine has selected me as one of the people to whom she wants to give this award. I am very touched and honoured that you thought of me, Elaine as I don't think I have been the best follower the past few days. I think perhaps, as someone who struggles with issues herself you are generous enough to see past that. Thank you very much for nominating me, Elaine. xx
There are a couple of conditions attached to the award:
"If you are nominated, you have been awarded the Versatile Blogger award". First, thank the person who gave you this award.
- Include a link to their blog,
- Select 15 blogs that you have either recently discovered or follow regularly,
- Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award,
- Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.
My Nominees for The Versatile Blogger Award (In no particular order)Are:
Clare, Bert and Simone
please note Abbie's link is not broken as I checked it but you may just have to paste it in xx
I was to list seven things about myself and I got a bit carried away (it is a nightmare being ill - emotions are all over the place) so I have edited a bit and wish I had edited it before posting!!
It is still a bit long but it has been a long day for me. You do not need to write this much.
I like movies
My two sons are grown up now, one is 35 and the other is 25;
I love animals
Craft and Art are my passion
Health and Disability issues are too many to list but a few things are
Myasthenia Gravis (neurological muscular) illness is not very well controlled despite high doses of Immunosuppressants which have their own set of fun side effects.
Several kinds of arthritis: inflammatory, osteo, +ve for rheumatoid, sjogrens disease,
pernicious anaemia, long term iron anaemia. Graves disease
Permanent autoimmune issues which have given so many problems Nothing I have is contagious or infectious.
I am 54 years of age, I am a tea addict, love movies and music wether Indie, Rock, Classical though not so much popular musical theatre. I love to walk and used to walk for miles but now I have not even managed out of the house in ages.
I despise all kinds of prejudice wether because of colour or race or age(to young or old), or gender or sexuality or religion or hair colour or eye colour or way of dressing or or or any kind you can think of. I honestly think that crafting people are among the least prejudiced and most good natured on the planet
Despite all this I do have a sense of humour; I love to laugh so much so that once in hospital I was having such a giggle with one of the auxhilliaries that someone said you will get sick!!! That really made me laugh.
I made this way too long initially. Elaine and Clare and others have opened up recently in a way I find hard to do and I got carried away I have now edited it and wish I had edited it before posting.
With Affection, Vee xx
