Nautical Scene

Good Morning, All
This is part two of my post for my first Kanban Crafts Design Team submissions.
I am doing it piece by piece to avoid mishaps!!
Affectionately,
Vee xx

Nautical Scene

9 March 2012

Materials and Method

Kanban Mocha Damask Kandi Core CRD 1849

Kanban Stamp # 5 (Nautical Theme)

A4 Sheet of card from stash, Teal

A5 expanable envelope as card will have dimension

(but I would probably use bubble wrap or a box as well ifI were posting)

Spellbinders Grand Labels #23 Dies

Spellbinders Decorative Window Die

Spellbinders Foliage Die

Glassine Paper

String

Small Metal Butterflies

Promarker pens Greys and Blues

Black Memento Ink Pad

Quickie Glue Pen

Translucent Extra Fine Glitter

Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners

Tim Holtz floral embellishment

Shells

Image stamped and coloured with Promarker pens some highlights added with glue pen and glitter

Teal card cut to slightly smaller than A5 using labels # 23 die

Mocha Kandi core cut with smaller labels # 23 die

Mocha Kandi Core cut with Decorative Window

The Mocha Kandi Core die cuts I sanded back to reveal core (fabulous card from Kanban Crafts)

Stamped image trimmed and layered between base teal card and Kandi Core window

Hitch fasteners attached to card and string threaded around card (I left two little openings for string in spine of card when I was cutting it but could be done after the die cutting quite easily

Metal Foliage added to string and made into bow

Other elements added for interest are some small foliage cut from glassine paper and shells.

Little peel off anchor for back of card

Peel off sailing ship for envelope
