Fat Page using CS Designs Sentiment

Fat Page using CS Designs Sentiment

I have made this fat page using a beautiful digital sentiment

from Chris Stern at CS Designs

This sentiment was an award for having my work showcased on

following a successful entry in their Fit to be Tied challenge.

M & M
(Materials and Method)
I used dark blue pearl double sided card
cut to 4 inches  x 4 inches (the dimensions for a fat page)
and added two side borders of washi tape.

I printed out the sentiment after resizing using
Craft Artist Professional
onto white supersmooth card.

I cut the sentiment using a heart circle from
Spellbinders, choosing a die with a four inch diameter.

I opted not to colour the sentiment on this
occasion.
(Regulars will be amazed that I managed not to use ink on something!)

However I did use ink and how! for the next part.

I used plastic packaging from a sizzix die to
make the heart embellishments.

This particular package had become damaged in transit
and the sticky was a bit gooey but I cleaned it up and cut it down to sheets of
good strong plastic.

I cut out heart shapes using a sizzix Bigz die
after I had inked the sheets using Alcohol inks
in blue and pearl.

I opted to use three hearts in graded sizes and I still
have a really nice sheet of dyed plastic
 for another project.

To complete the design I mounted the three hearts
using foam pads to separate the layers.
I also mounted the sentiment using
foam as I wanted it to sit proud from the
card.

Affectionately,
Vee xx
