These are my projects for Kanban Design Team this sunny
Monday morning here in my part of Scotland.
All made from the lovely products from Kanban Crafts.
Sentry Box Gift Box
M & M
(Materials and Method)
Kanban Crafts A4 sheet of navy blue
card stock
Kanban Crafts On Duty Paper Craft
Toppers 900174
Blue Eyelets
Red Ribbon
White Ribbon
As soon as I saw these lovely oppers I knew I wanted to make
a sentry box! and I soon found myself planning a
full gift box. The main part is an A4 sheet that I scored into four
equal sections, leaving a tab to join. I then had to
figure how to make the top and what size to make it
so once I planned it I just cut the card
into equal sized triangular shapes above each side of the box,
leaving a little tab for joining. I made a separate
base as I wanted to it to be strong without
losing the height so I made a square slightly larger then the
base of the box and scored it leaving tabs. This I slotted
inside the base and glued. I inserted eyelets to the pointed
parts of the roof and threaded ribbon through.
I trimmed the toppers to fit and attached to
three of the sides so as to leave a panel free for
a greeting. I left the ribbons long so as to attach
several of the little greetings.
I would lke to enter this project into the following challenges;
