I scored the 12 inch square into three rows and columns of equal size.
This makes each segment 3 inches by 3 inches.
Score a diagonal line on each square at each corner.
I think it can be seen in the photographs how to do this.
Made the lid out of red card and decorated
with various toppers.

Vee, Love your little box and the theme. It's amazing you made the bottom from a single sheet of paper, such an interesting technique. I will have to give that one a try. I also love those little guys you put inside the box, makes the whole thing look very British, which I am sure was your intent.
