Good Evening, Everyone
Sorry for not posting for a day or two but with the
Jubilee break I took some rest from the PC.
I still managed to get some crafting done, but
I feel like I was working under water!!
The Olympic Torch was in my area today. I don't manage
out much at the moment, as regulars will know,
but I will see the local coverage.
The weather was a bit dull but the rain stayed off
until this evening so the torch celebrations
stayed relatively dry.
I have been making some of my Kanban Crafts Design Team projects
and I have a few things to share at once,
Owng to the Jubilee break we did not need to send
our makes in on Monday.
Affectionately,
Vee xx
Vintage Red Card
This is my first Kanban Crafts make for this week
that I would like to share with you.
It is quite a straightforward card and
these toppers are among my favourites
and I think that something simple
shows it to the best advantage.
There is a selection of images like these featuring
sketches on cream and foiling
with red being the only strong colour in any of them.
This particular one is on topper sheet 900175 but there
are similar images on 900176.
I used two sheets of Kanban Crafts Red A4 Card; one
I folded to make an A5 portrait card, the other
I cut into A5 size then with Spellbinders Grand ovals
to create appertures reducing towards
the inner.
I highlighted the oval with some Kanban Crafts crimson 5mm pearls.
Then adhered a length of cotton crochet ribbon down left
side, highlighted with a little red bow to which I added
another crimson pearl.
