Don't forget to use an LEJ Designs digital image to be entered into the

 special weekly prize draw.

This is a rolling jackpot and this week some lucky person could win five digis from LEJ Desings. How lucky can you get.

I used the yawning lion image this week, another fab image from

I printed the lion onto acetate and backed it with transparent adhesive sheet and layed on gold leaf. It is quite a fun exercise trying to use the sheets of gold leaf as they are so delicate it is hard to lift them from the tissue then they try to float off everywhere!
I selected a cream 11 inch  x 7 inch card blank and some adirondack cooredinations card. I embossed these with a leaf mask and sanded back , tore to shape and arranged onto card blank then topped it with the gold leaf lion.

I made the ribbon from twill and a cat  paw rubber stamp.

The smaller image I made while playing on Serif.

I love this lion; she is yawning but instead of looking vulnerable she looks very powerful with those strong muscles and large teeth; she is very beautiful.

Affectionately,
Vee xx
