Good Morning, All
There is a Design Team call over at
and they put this luscious freebie up to use for your entry.
M and M (Materials and Method)
First of all I printed out two copies of the lovely free image, as I knew I wanted
to have a contrast. I coloured one in a more traditional manner with added
gems and the other using purple shades and tones and black gems.
I used a white,scalloped edge 8inch x 8inch card for base,
with the edges inked with seedless preserve distress ink.
For layer, I used purple cooredinations card tore the edges,
embossed and sanded. I chose not
to add ink.
I had selected two contrastng papers and I tore these around
the edges; the brighter one I inked with Victorian Velvet
the darker one with Black Soot.
I added the images mounted with high foam pads.
I made two more embellishments with Crafty Emblies
items repurposed and with an added Spellbinders venetian motif.
Everything was finished with two messages cut
and altered from Spellbinders venetian accent.
Affectionately, Vee xx
