LEJ Designs Alter It - Gift Challenge

 Good Morning, All

The theme at LEJ Designs Challenge Blog this week is

 Alter It - Gifts.

There is a randomly drawn prize of four digital images from LEJ Designs.

There is also a randomly drawn sponser prize of a £10 voucher from the wonderful
Crafty-Emblies
The special prize draw for using an LEJ Designs  image has a jackpot of 8 digital images.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have altered a cd and made it into a Christmas tree decoration.
One side has Mr Claus from LEJ Designs on a background of red / holly Christmas card, cut to shape and edges inked; the other has Snowy Haven on  a green / snowflake background also cut to shape and edges inked.
Mr Claus is one of Lindsay's new Christmas range and doesn't he have a kind face? Frankly, many Santa images are downright scary but this one seems very approachable.
 Snowy Haven is a lovely cosy scene, also from Lindsay's new Christmas range, a warm and inviting house with obviously a good fire blazing in the hearth to thaw you out after a romp in the snow.
I really enjoyed colouring these.
I printed out both images twice onto digital card, coloured them with promarker pens and layered them with foam pads for dimension. When I attached them to the cd I also used foam pads as I thought the extra dimension would look good when it was hanging from the tree.
I threaded red and green glitter cord / twine down the middle of the cd before adding the layers and attached some bells to the lower ends of the cord.
Love and Peace,
Vee xx
