The Cheerful Stamp Pad 2nd Guest Design

This is my second guest design for The Cheerful Stamp Pad and you still have a couple of days to enter the fun challenge:
Work is Good.
I have used  Craft Star  by Kenny K who is the sponsor this week.  I coloured this super image using Promarker alcohol pens and cut with a spellbinders label, I left her feet outside the cutting edge for effect and inked the edges with Forest Moss Distress Ink. The layer is K&Co Speciality Scrapbook Paper which has a lovely flittered surface, I rounded the corners and inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Everything is mounted onto and A5 shaped, white silk art card. The edges are inked in Forest Moss. The embellishments are a large fabric flower trimmed and a string (twine) bow with an embroidered flower for centre. The flowers are from the Funkie Junkie Boutique.
I cannot stay on long today but will be back on later to catch up on any kind comments.
All The Best,
Vee xx

Domino Book Dominoart Challenge #2 using Rick St Denis special offer kit

Front

  Inner View

Inner view with outer panels turned in

This last pic was to try to show the frosted film over Alice - the frosting is a little bit visible!

I coloured all the images with Promarker alcohol pens and the inner set has been cut along the long sides a Spellbinders edgeability.
I covered the outer image panels with Tim Holtz frosted film and cut with a small spellbinders shape and then made two inner panels using the same shape that were embossed with Washed Away which is one of the set of Creative Expressions embossing folders which are Alice themed.
I used Antique Linen Distress Ink to emphasise the embossing and also ran this round the edges. I also used it to ink the central row of images along the top and bottom.
I attached narrow gold ribbon around the perimeter of the domino.

Work is Good At The Cheerful Stamp Pad and Guest Design

I was lucky enough to be asked by the lovely Vicki Romaine to be Guest Designer at
I was very pleased as I love the blog and the innovative challenges. The theme this week is
Work is Good
and the sponsor is Kenny K.

I used the  Firefighter by Kenny K

I coloured this fab image with Promarker alcohol pens and cut it out with a Spellbinders label die, and mounted onto an A5 pearl blue card blank made from an A4 sheet of card from stash. I then used Tim Holtz tissue tape  to frame the image and added string (twine) with a knot. I added Tim Holtz metal gear and brad for embellishment.
There are some lovely Design Team projects so have a look and hope to see you enter this fun challenge.
 All The Best,
Vee xx

I would like to enter this card into the challenge at
Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog
where the theme is
Projects with character.
