The Cards Galore Challenge is "Butterflies"
Cards Galore February Challenge - Butterflies
I could not make a butterfly card without using some of my favourite Mei Flower silver filgree butterflies; I just love them.
What I did:
Embossed a cream 11"x7" card with That Special Touch Of .. Leaves A4 mask.
Stamped and embossed Creative Expressions Dreamy Sentiment in Champagne Versa Mark and Ranger gold embossing powder. Cut it out using the largest oval in spellbinders Lacey Ovales(sic) then altered the oval by attaching flourishes cut using Fleur de Lis Motifs and Parisian Accents.
I cut a large butterfly from Spellbinders Fanciful Flight and a small one from Butterflies. I inked the smaller one with Antique Linen Distress Ink and centred it over the large lacy butterfly.
I attached a border of creative expressions lace and embellished it with three Mei Flower silver filligree butterflies. I crocheted a round flower using baker's twine and sewed a wooden laser cut daisy on to it for texture and interest.
