Good Morning, All
This week at
they asked us to make them chilled by
getting down and dark with Nursery Rhymes.
The theme is Itsy Bitsy Spider
(here in Uk we tend to say Eency Weency Spider)
I chose this digital image from
which has a whole new way of
illustrating the Nursery Rhyme
Old Mother Hubbard
Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the Cupboard
To get her poor doggie a bone;
When she got there,
The cupboard was bare
And so the poor doggie got none.
I always thought that was a bit unfair so it is good
to turn the tables; these two are going to get a bone no problem!
I printed the image onto digital card,
coloured withPromarker Pens and
coloured withPromarker Pens and
added a bit of purple diamond sparkles.
I mounted it all on a big piece of sticky foam sheet
to sit proud of Tim Holtz Kraft resist paper which I had torn and rolled
for effect, then mounted everything onto
true black card.
Affectionately,
Vee xx
Oh what a great imagination you have and then the talent to put it onto paper, wow! This is quite the take on Old Mother Hubbard!!
