Today's post Part One

This wonderful digital art image is called Mermaid's Revenge and 

is a brand new one by Teri and only arrived in the 

Delicious Doodles 

shop this morning.  

This is going to be one of my favourites. No one draws 

skulls or mermaids quite like 

Teri and this one is stunning. 

Look at the attitude and don't you love her 

black pearls? Gorgeous!

A real joy to work with and here she is coloured with

promarker pens with little highlights from

Sakura gel pens.

QUEST 13 - SOME WORDS WITH A MUMMY

And now - a further Quest.......  what say thee to the notion of discourse with a creature from eons gone by ? How wouldst thou address such, and what knowledge would he impart to thee. ? Herewith lies a tale of one such encounter - a strange tale indeed - and doth not thy mind race at the thought ?? The tale is entitled "SOME WORDS WITH A MUMMY" .

This is a sparkling little satire by Poe, laughing as he 

takes pot shots of Bostonian society and men 

of letters.

He engineers a debate between ancient  and 

modern civilisation and we are left in no doubt

who is the victor in Poe's opinion.

I have made what might have formed part of 

a journal by a participant in the tale.
