Hello, All
Today at Delicious Doodles the challenge theme is
I have used the lovely digital art images
and
There are loads of lovely Christmas Images in
Some brand new, some a little older; some traditional, some alternative but all brilliant quality and value for money.
There are designs to suit every taste.
I printed both images onto digital card and coloured using Promarker pens. The landscape is coloured very subtly as it is already a lovely sketch and I did not want to obscure the original too much. Incidentally, that takes more time and patience not less!
I had decided to make it into an A4 landscape card so I framed it using Christmas themed backing card, in stronger shades of the colours I had used, from which I cut an apperture using a Spellbinders Grand Oval Die.
Once this was mounted I attached the lovely Robin Redbreast image, trimmed and mounted on foam pads to sit proud of the scene. I was rather pleased when I noticed his shadow across the top right hand corner in my photograph.
I do hope you will join in our challenge this week and anyone using a Delicious Doodles image gets an extra entry in the draw.

Here is an ATC I made using the same theme.
I have used Mythical Pegasus which is one of my favourite images by Teri and, while he is stunning, he also looks a little bit worn out so I have added some apt words by the Scots poet, Robert Garioch from his poem, Sisyphus. Whose bad day lasts for eternity.
I printed him onto digital card and coloured with
Promarker pens, then used a small Spellbinders label die to cut him out. I mounted this onto a Silver Mirri Board ATC I made using a left over piece from another project.
I would like to enter this into the
Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge
where I had the good fortune to be drawn as random winner
for last week's Thank You theme. This is my
make for this week's challenge:
Mythical Creatures.
