Hard to believe that we are starting our third challenge already at
Left of Center
and our theme this fortnight is:
use ribbon and/or twine.
If you want to make a Left of Center project
then you do not need to stick to the theme but
you may, if you wish, incorporate both.
We are sponsored by Rick St Dennis this challenge
and we were lucky enough to choose a free image.
I could not resist this one as I think it just sums up the alternative reality that Alice has fallen into
as well as making me think of certain situations where
this is the only answer for the behaviour of some people
or organisations!

I added a close up to show how great the drawing is.
I printed onto digital card and coloured him with Promarkers.
I started off going for a bagpuss colour scheme
but his own personality came through and the colours
edged into more of a tabby look! The blue eyes remained though :)
I cut out the image using a grand oval by spellbinders
and then used two other sizes of grand ovals to create a
frame. I wrapped the frame with purple and lilac ribbons which are the colours from the background of the image. I attached the image to an A5 scalloped card and mounted the frame.
I do hope you will join in this week we are delighted
by all the great entries.
All the best,
Vee xx
