Long Time No See!


Hello
I have not been on my blog for several months. I have not really been creating much except for some family cards and mixed media pieces. As I was not blogging I did not take many photographs but I made this little mixed media item when I was having a play with some Wendy Vecchi stamps and some other bits and bobs. There is a lot of shine and glitter but did not really capture it too well in the photograph. Normally when I make items like this I make them as hanging pieces but this time I made a stand using a Tim Holtz Sizzix Die. I will add the pic of the stand below.


Materials

5 inch square Mountboard
Purple Acrylic Paint
Silver Texture Paste
Few shades of Metallic gilding wax
Midnight diamond Sparkles
Dragonfly mask
Wendy Vecchi stamps
Wendy Vecchi Clearly for Art in Black
Wendy Vecchi Art parts (bee)
Silver stamp pad
Sizzix butterfly die
For Stand:
Sizzix TH stand die
Grungeboard
