Vintage Christmas Card


Good Morning
This is my entry for the September sketch challenge at 

I decided to go vintage and opted for a Christmas card. I used a Tim Holtz Santa stamp on silk art card, inked in sepia and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I cut the image using spellbinders die and cut a contrasting die for added dimension then inked with antique linen distress ink and interlinked them.
The base card is cream 10inch by 7inch randomly stamped with pine cones inked with hazelnut and using 1st, 2nd generation ink. 
The layers are a piece of Kanban Christmas backing card and  red Graphic 45 coredinations, embossed with sizzix texturz snowflakes and sanded. The stamped image is layered with dimension.

    I do love your santa image and fab die cut! The image reminds me of the Santa's I knew in my childhood:O. That is what is so great about'vintage', it recalls for the most part pleasant memories!
