Little Wren

Hello, Everyone

This weekend I was having a play with some lovely Inkylicious stamps and I made a card and tag.

I used a kraft card base and stamped it with inkylicious music in black ink to create a background and applied some chalk ink through a Tim Holtz stencil around the corners.
I stamped the wren image and word "Wren" from an Inkylicious set onto ranger ATC canvas using distress ink and the lovely sentiment was treated in similar fashion.
I inked the little casnvases using distress inks in blue and green tones and finished with brown around edge. Embellishments are twine, wooden painted button and metal leaf.  Finished card size 5 inches by 7inches

For the tag I put a mixture of blue and green distress inks onto a craft mat and spritzed with water and swirled a ranger manilla tag around it. Once dry, I stamped the wren image using distress ink and also inked the edges of the tag. I finished with some webby/wiry ribbon stapled onto tag (after I mauled it a bit) and finished with some strands of twine.

I had a good view of the solar eclipse on Friday. My photographs are less than amazing but quite atmospheric none the less!

Thanks for looking,
All The Best,
Vee xx
