Hello, All
It is time for the second week of our challenge at
and our theme is
Fairies.
We are a mixed media blog so any project which fits the theme is welcome.
For the second week I again used the lovely image Darkling by Janna Prosvirina, which is available from out sponsor,
Sweet Pea Stamps
as are many lovely rubber and digital stamps.
I decided to make a parchment project this time as I am currently learning this lovely craft.

I decided to make a parchment project this time as I am currently learning this lovely craft.
I printed the image onto parchment and shaded the image with my tools after I cut it out using a Spellbinders grand oval. I layered it onto lilac/pink shaded paper from a digital selection, also cut using the oval.
I created a border from vintage crochet lace and mounted the whole design using foam mount.
I layered this onto lilac matte card and further layered onto cream textured card. I cut some corners using Spellbinders and added some gems to the oval.
All The Best,
Vee xx
