I was happy for the chance to use one of these images from
LEJ Designs 's Soulful Eyes Collection
The eyes are mesmerising and I liked this image from the start.
As soon as I saw her enigmatic little smile I was drawn to ask why
she was smiling. Well she is obviously playing "he loves me; he loves me not"
and the smile would suggest success!
However, look at the ground! How many fabulous flowers did she use? Why did she
need so many flowers? Was she determined to get the
answer she wanted? Or perhaps she is the one
who is not sure?
The tulips are indeed fabulous flowers too.

I wanted to design an A5 card base with a framing shape
and a little bitof dimension but not exactly a stepper or easel
so I used an A4 sheet of lilac card
and just played around until I got it the way I wanted!
The result is exactly how I imagined my
design for fabulous flowers challenge so I am quite happy.
The digital images I resized
using Serif and flipped the tulips to balance as I had a clear
mental picture of having the tulips at either side.
mental picture of having the tulips at either side.
All of these images are coloured with promarker pens
with a tiny bit of Sakura gel for highlighting the discarded petals.
I opted to put a piece of lovely textured
and foiled paper behind the central image.
It is part of a 12 x 12 sheet of
My Minds Eye scrapboking paper.
Everything is mounted with dimension and I finished off
with some ribbon trimming.
Affectionately,
Vee xx
