This is a very exciting post for me! 

My first ever Design Team project for

Desmet Designs Challenge Blog

The challenge theme this week is 

Things with Wheels

 the lucky winner will receive two digital images from

 Desmet Designs 

where lovely digital art is also available to  buy. 

There are new images and papers being added

Today I am using several of

 Desmet Designs 

lovely designs today:

The Caravan

The Pram

Apple Tree

 The floral backing paper

has been made using images from one of the lovely

 Daisy Papers Set also available to buy.

When  I saw this amazing vintage caravan I immediately thought

of people taking their whiole house contents 

with them in the caravan and having

to unpack it al on arrival!

Especially in the days before the "package holiday."

I  printed the image onto digital card and coloured it with promarkers.

I decoupaged some elements such as the window and curtains, and altered the door 

so that it sat open and added some steps to the door. 

I then added a little wooden cat at the window, a wooden dog chasing a ball,

a rope and tools which have been left handy for all the work to come!

The pram image I reduced, printed out and coloured with

 promarkers and put under shade.

The apple tree and basket are a part of another Desmet Designs

 set called  Apple Tree Cottage

 which I altered to fit this scene.

The apple tree and basket of apples

are also coloured with promarkers and some

flowersoft has been added to the leaves.

The floral backing paper has been made using 

some images from the Daisy Paper Collection from Desmet Designs.

Everything was mounted on A4 Card in light blue and I finished

off the border with faux stitching.

I added a bow of ribbons, string and what not then
finished off with a wooden patterned button.
