Ike of Ike's World has started a brand new challenge blog
and
the first challenge is tic tac toe.
She has provided a lovely freebie called Fashionista
and there are plenty more digital art images in her shop, Ike's Art
Here is the grid from the challenge.
I used the top row for both my cards.
Sparkles, Tag, Lace.
I used the images Alice and Hatter.
I cut each printed image using an oval Spellbinders die and coloured with promarkers. The edges are inked with Distress Inks. Tumbled Glass for Alice and Antique Linen with Walnut Stain for Hatter
I made them into tags ( I really want to say I tagified them! ) and used a heart shaped metal tag thingamajig, added glitter to Alice's ribbon and shoes and to Hatter's eyes and bow. I also foiled Alice's eyes in blue. I used a coppery metallic lace for Hatter and a creamy fabric lace for Alice. (Sparkles, Tag, Lace.)
The Alice tag is mounted onto silver pearlised card which I embossed with "washed away" and then layered onto a blue card base which I made using a grand spellbinders rectangle 7inches x 5.5 inches. Hatter was given the same treatment but he was mounted onto copper pearlised card and the embossing folder I used is called "tea party." (Both of these embossing folders are part of an Alice in Wonderland themed set by Couture Creations.)
The base card for Hatter is Kraft card and was cut using the same rectangular Spellbinders die.
All The Best,
Vee xx
