Lots of Layers.
I made quite a straightforward card with several layers of different textures.
and coloured him with Promarkers, cut out with a
Sizzix thinlit ticket die. The largest die was actually a bit smaller than I wanted so I cut the card one half at a time to extend to get the exact size! I inked with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. Then added to the layers I selected which are: a base mauve A5 card, with a matte texture, then true black card with smooth texture then Kraft card with a ribbed texture, next a piece of hessian (burlap) and the final layer before the image is Graphic 45 purple Coredinations paper. Some layers were cut and some torn to add texture and interest. The letters are from Tim Holtz salvage stickers.
We hope you will join in the challenge and bring on your creations with Lots of Layers.

Very cool - I love the way you cut the ticket like that to make it bigger !! Do you just leave some hanging out of the machine then to do that ??
ReplyDeleteFabbo with the burlap :-) I have tried everywhere to get that her but all the grain and stuff seems to come in stupid plastic sacks here in Greece :-(
Great card Vee :-)
