Hello!
A4 journal page to join in at Art Journal Journey .
This one is a bit tongue-in-cheek which is kind of how Nazareth performed Brokendown Angel in Glasgow several years ago when they made jokes at their own expense because they were no longer all that young (or tall!)
I used Tattered Angels (IKR) Paint washes and sprays, Wink of Stella, Tim Holtz Big Talk snark, AALL and Create washi tape, die cuts and angels from bits and bobs box. The Angels were originally torn from La Blanche scrapbook paper a long, long time ago!
Thanks for looking in,
Vee xx
A real fun twist to this one Vee and can identify with both quotes.

Very clever page Vee. I had to smile with those TH quotes, and it's a great take on the band. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey for Alison's challenge. Hugs-Erika

Your page is so creative! It's very beautiful and fun at the same time! I love how you depicted "Brokendown Angel" by Nazareth!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun journal page you have created and a great band to recognize, too. I am a fan of Nazareth, so the way you depicted this page is wonderful. Your Tattered Angels sprays came out quite shimmery, and your angels were heavenly. Thanks so much for sharing this tongue-in-cheek beauty with us at Art Journal Journey using Alison's theme.
ReplyDeleteSo creative and artistic - good to get your ideas down in a journal.
