Strong Women

 Hello

When Lost Coast had a theme of Strong Women it made me think of a lot of women - some famous, some related to me and most living relatively ordinary lives just facing up to challenges every day, even myself  sometimes. 

Most recently though, it is thoughts of Sue Eisenhauer - more widely  known to many as Ike. She was an amazing artist and a lovely person. We both started blogging round about the same time years ago and our paths crossed around challenges, especially with gothic themes (IKR)! and we were on some of the same Design Teams together. I had a really long break from blogging and when I came back Sue was struggling with chemo and side effects but always with humour and spirit and still running her personal blog and two challenge blogs. What a woman. You will be missed.❤


For this simple A5 journal page I used an interesting rubber stamp by Lost Coast, Silhouette Angel, for my main image and various stamps from Studio Light. I had the lyrics from the Helen Reddy song I Am Woman foremost in my head so that made up my words here.
